Woman is burned during incident

GLENVILLE - a 34- year-old woman was injured Sunday when she apparently put rubbing alcohol on her body and set it on fire, town police said.
The incident happened at a Van Buren Road residence where police had been called because of a domestic dispute involving a mother and daughter. The daughter, police said, agreed to leave but first used the bathroom where she apparently set herself on fire. Her brother and police broke into the room and put out the flames, and firefighters responded. The woman was airlifted to a hospital. |
