Severe weather hit the Capital Region Sunday evening, but we're in for some calmer weather today. A long line of heavy rains, thunder and lightning moved quickly through the area. The storms stretched from north of Glens Falls to south of Columbia County.
There hasn't been much damaged reported. But one place that did see damage was Glenville. Lightning struck near a home on Kendall Lane. It hit an electric fence and entered a home damaging several electric outlets. No one was home at the time, and no one was hurt. |
